What's going on world? This is your boy Slick, So Fo Real Productions, Real Beats for Real Artists. I am here to give you three reasons why you should not take that free gig. Number one, if you have already played there before, for free, don't do it again. That person that wants you to play knows your value now and that's the only reason why they're asking you to come back. So they need to be able to pay you for that value.
Number two, if all you're trying to do is suck up to the guy that's hiring you, don't do it. If you're trying to build a relationship and you want to give them a free gig just for that, don't do it. There's other ways to build up your relationship. You got to keep it professional. You go to your day job, you get paid every single time, remember that.
Number three, third reason why you should not take a free gig. If they're taking money at the door, it ain't for you. It's your boy Slick, So Fo Real Productions, Real Beats for Real Artists. Y'all be smart! Peace!
