This is vocal exercises step 4. Step 1 is breathing, step 2 is good posture, step 3 is relaxing your muscle, and step 4 is actually singing. Singing and exercises where you walk up the scale and you sing "do re mi fa so la ti do". I'm sure you've heard that before. Again, it's "do re mi fa so la ti do". You actually want to sing these words while walking up a scale. So I'm going to demonstrate. I'm not a singer, I'm a producer, but I can still demonstrate for you. You have your keyboard here, if you sing "do re mi fa so la ti do". Again (going up) "do re mi fa so la ti do" (going down) "do re mi fa so la ti do".
See the reason why you want to do that is to build your phrasing and to build your sense of pitch in your head. If you practice "do re mi fa so la ti do" to each scale, then you'll better two things. You'll better your phrasing and you'll better your pitch, and both of those things are important when it comes to being a professional singer. I hope that helps you. That's all 4 steps. I'll give you some more tips and tricks about vocal exercises and things that you can do quickly but efficiently to make your vocals sound better than anybody else. This is Slick.
